Adolescence the time when braces are generally worn
Often adolescence is the perfect time to undertake orthodontic treatment as all the adult teeth have erupted and our patients are still experiencing facial growth. If early orthopaedic work has been undertaken and maintained, adolescent orthodontic treatment time should be a short 12 – 18 months.
